Delicious fish and chips. Very friendly staff.

Very very disappointed. Once upon arrival the women behind the counter was extremely rude and her attitude completely stunk. Didn't buy anything in the end due to the rudeness..

Best in Pocklington in my opinion. Spam fritters are great as us the fish. Chips are really good with an old fashioned feel and taste, highly recommended!

This is not the first time we have had fish and chips from Pocklington but it could be the last. We opened them up to be disappointed by the fish which smelt strongly of ammonia and the colour confirmed it was off. The chips had been kept warm far too long and the whole package was put in the bin. No wonder there was no queue when we arrived !

Best fish and chips we have had in a long time! Good sized portions, fish lovely and freshly cooked for us, chips were dry and not greasy. Lovely!!

Well cooked fish and chips - no soggy batter. We ordered small portions and they were a good size (even after a 50 mile bike ride!).

The first time we had f & c’s it was perfect. Tasty fish and a decent portion of chips. Unfortunately the second time was a disappointment, 75% batter and 25% fish. The chips were done way to long also. Consistency is key.
