Where is The Altisidora?

🏠 Bishop Burton, Beverley HU17 8QF

"Housed in a charming Grade II listed building in the picturesque village of Bishop Burton, The Altisdora is a quintessential country pub which has been sensitively renovated. The wooden beams that gave the original building its character and unique charm are still intact. For sunny days, we have a stylish patio with oversized umbrellas, classic pub benches, and a private pagoda. All are welcome at The Altisdora. Drive out to the country for a pub lunch with your partner. Catch up with friends over drinks and dinner. Get the kids in the car and meet the grandparents for a traditional family Sunday lunch. Beautifully crisp roast potatoes, silky gravy, tender meat, and flavoursome vegetables are prepared from scratch every Sunday."

We often come here from Hull and in spite of there being lots of restaurants and bars in Hull, we make our way further afield to Altisidora because the food, service and atmosphere are so good. Never had a bad time eating and drinking here. Vegan menu is great and there are a few good options on there. Staff are so lovely too. Can’t fault it and always look forward to visiting.

We love coming to the Altisidora. It's exactly what you want from a local pub - a decent menu at decent prices with staff who are lovely and welcoming. They're always great with our two young sons too. We've been countless times now and always come away happy with the food, service and experience.

Took my Mother and sister here for a joint birthday meal. Food was amazing and the service was without fault. Becky, our server was pleasant and attentive. Over all a awesome evening. We will visit again and thanks very much!

We booked in advance as it was a Sunday lunchtime so pleased we did as the pub was fully booked when we arrived. The food was lovely plentiful portions my only disappointment was my order from the specials menu was sold out so I had to reorder something else.Great service and atmosphere we will definitely visit again

Menu has pies, steaks, fish and chips and burgers. Good selection of starters and deserts make ir a good choice for family meals. Although there is a wheelchair ramp there are many steps inside and out. Only limited space inside for people with restricted mobility

We arrived slightly earlier than our booking and were accommodated immediately. Good service, excellent food. We had 2 highchairs for children under 2 years old, 4 adults, all well looked after. Thank you.

Lovely place to eat, food was amazing, really friendly, well mannered and efficient staff. Was seated and served quickly, definitely will be going back again

·

Very nice looking pub and warm, cosy feel. Food and drinks however are very overpriced for what we got - £15.50 for a burger that was something you'd expect from a 241 (not good quality meat, sides or bread) and well over £3 for a lime and lemonade 😱Priced for a nice restaurant but not much more than bargain pub grub. Wouldn't return for this reason.Staff, really attentive and welcoming though..

The Sunday roast dinner here was out of this world, I can highly recommend this pub. On a lovely Sunny day like today their beer garden is a really nice place to sit. It’s a dog friendly pub too.The village of Bishop Burton is a very picturesque place with two village ponds. Will definitely be back here again in the future.10/10 quality food, great service, nice location.
