I must confess to being a regular visitor. Great food and beer, friendly service - overall, a most enjoyable experience. Things to look out for:Sunday carvery - absolutely fantastic and makes it difficult to want to stand at home cooking our own dinner!Thursday curry night - all you can eat curries and sides. There is always a range of stronger and milder curries, so all tastes are covered. This meal is just excellent valueMonthly gourmet night - once a month, chef has some fun and puts together a four-course gourmet menu, often with a specific theme. You need to pre-book, but every one we've been to has been fabulous and, again, excellent value

After finding lots of nearby pub's closed on a Monday evening we decided to try the Bay Horse. We arrived at 7.50 pm with food orders taken until 8 pm and we were welcomed. Great atmosphere with welcoming log stove. Ordered two meals and both delicious and excellent value - great pub 👍

I have been here over the past 12/13 years on and off. However the first time since new management. Everyone enjoyed their food, was very quick, efficient service and all hot. Priced reasonable too. Only knocked 1 star off for the choice of chips, they were OK? but definitely no match on the homemade chunky chips that used to be served.

Stopped by when driving. Great little pub with play area for the kids. Menu is amazing. Servers where really polite and helpful. We had scampi & chips, was superb. Will visit again 👍🏻

The pub has a really good outdoor space to sit and the children have access to a large play area. Thr food is ok, it was a bit greasy but the portions are generous and is good value for money. The bread was really dry on the childs burger meal. The waiting staff hardly smiled and we didnt feel very welcome here. We went as a large group and got seated with half of us squashed up to the wall, the children sat with adults on this side and found it easier to crawl under the table to get out. The room we ate in was really warm as well which made it uncomfy, despite notices to keep the doors closed we had to open them just for a bit of air.
