Went for Sunday lunch today and what a find.I had the three meat roast with beef, pork and turkey. All three were excellent but the beef was probably the best I've had with a pub meal.Perfectly cooked vegetables, lovely rich gravy and decent beers.A really nice looking building with a pleasant modern interior plus the staff were attentive and friendly.Very reasonably priced and cannot recommend it enough.A very successful Sunday drive out for us.

Absolutely amazing food, great atmosphere and not overly expensive. Saying that I don't mind paying abit extra if the food is top notch.

Absolutely splendid Sunday roast dinner today. Beautifully presented. Unlimited vegetables. Three choices of meat. All three if you wish.Pavlova desert to die for. First ever visit a few days ago and was so impressed that we booked for Sunday lunch. A great decision. Must visit again when in the area.

Nice, friendly staff and good Sunday lunch with excellent portions. Unfortunately the wine price board was not up to date and the shock came with the bill. The price for a glass of wine would have seemed expensive by London standards. A pity, as it spoiled what was otherwise good value and good quality.

Food was fresh and very well cooked, service was attentive but not too much. Staff very friendly. Will definitely be back. Not sure why I've not been sooner with it being so close. Oh and it was great value for money

Scrumptious fish pie, and sides. Can't fault the food nor the friendly service. The Restaurant was a little dark, the menu board was outdated, and there was no current gluten free menu, yet it said on the main menu to ask for a gluten free menu if required... Management might need to give their head a bit of a wobble, the bar staff seemed rather overworked also.

We came for a Sunday lunch for 6 people which was reasonably priced and very well cooked. The Yorkies were crisp and the potatoes nice. The beef was served medium and the pork came with a little crackling. The veg served on the side included parsnips, carrots, broccoli and Kale and was cooked well. Not squishy and horrible but with some bite still. They do some very tasty gravy too. One of our party had a pie, which was entirely contained within pastry and really tasty! The beer was also good, and the waiting staff were very accommodating and attentive. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.

First time here lovely little pub. Best of both worlds. The outside aesthetics is the look of a lovely country pub while the inside is a stylish modern restaurant. Great service and a lovely atmosphere. We both had the beef Sunday which was lovely. We both had different desserts. I had the sticky toffee pudding, my husband had the dark brownie which both where divine. Would definitely recommend to any one and would come back if in the area.

Amazing amazing amazing. Not a single thing can be faulted! Most polite staff you will ever meet, lovely cosey pub setting, food that you just don't want to stop eating! Cheapish pricing (especially for portion sizes).Definitely has to be one of my most favourite places to eat/drink.Hats off to the chef/ bar staff 🙌
