We called in for a carvery on Sunday as we had family over and this seemed easier after a party earlier for my daughter.... Anyway the food was gorgeous so nicely served and lovely and warm...we will be back very soon..

Really nice tennis teas, having just played Beeford. Beer was excellent.

Went in after an away cricket match, they'd put on hotdogs & chips for the teams @ I had a cracking pint of IPA

Lovely Pub friendly staff, new management, nice beer open fire, lots of parking good food too. Worth a visit for sure.

Like a traditional village pub should be. Food is available but it's friendly conversation and a chance to meet friends that people go for. Plus the great beer from Wold Top brewery and cask John Smith's Bitter.

Been for Sunday lunch. Main meals £10.95 fish + chips, salads, Sunday lunch.. for Sunday lunch you get selection of meats or steak pie which is what I had and it was homemade and stacked full of melt in your mouth beef. Veg on your plate are mashed sweede and parsnips with either chips or roasties.. More veg comes to share, carrots, cabbage and broccoli + also cauliflower cheese.Starters £4.95 - fish/chicken goujions, prawn twizzlers for example..Deserts £4.95 - mixture of sponges, Eton mess, ice cream..Drinks- good selection of on tap beers, ciders. As a guide I got a pint of coke + pint strongbow dark fruits and it cost me £5.60 which I thought was good.All in all it was an enjoyable afternoon, sat in beer garden which was small but had ample seating
