Simply put this is a great pub.Massive outdoor seating/beer garden. We visited twice. It was busy when we visited both times but we booked a head for a table the evening we wanted to eat. When we turned up for a pint the following day the signs said the restaurant was fully booked. When I was ordering drinks the bar staff were willing take extra orders if you were happy to wait. I thought this was fair as they told us about it up front. The staff were very friendly and made you feel welcome. The food is delicious, reasonably priced and have generous portions. There was a good selection of drinks available behind the bar.We were happy that the place is dog friendly through out.The bar and a few dining tables are on one level in side, making it fairly easy for access. There are a few stairs going up to the restaurant. If you require ease of access I would speak to the pub beforehand as I think they could accommodate most visitors requirements if they were made aware before they visited.

Very nice local pub. Plenty of parking. Beer garden. Good pub food choice. Tasty food at a good price. Friendly staff and it's dog friendly. Recommended

Sunday dinner was half fresh half frozen, cheap beef, was more like stewed steak, that you get from Iceland, frozen veg, frozen roasters, hey but real carrots, staff polite, skinny man that runs around reminds me of that Spanish waiter in faulty towers. We sat down and he asked if we had booked, we said no, he hesitated then said OK I can fit you in, 7 tables were empty lol then when we left there were still 7 empty, anyway I would give it a 7/10.

Ordered 2 pints. Over £12 for the round. Heard 2 locals order 2 pints and asked if drinks had gone up for 'members' They paid just over £6 for the same as us. I felt we had been totally exploited for being a visitor..shame because its a lovely pub and food was nicethe

We stopped here for lunch whilst looking for a house in the area. I only wanted a bowl of chips but the menu looked good. The chips were ace, loved them! The pub itself was also very good. Aesthetically pleasing a proper old locals pub but with plenty of space and an open log fire in one of the bars.Great outdoor seating area and a massive car park I can imagine will only add to the great venue in good weather. There is a large tv for sports coverage, wifi is available.Although brief based on my visit I would totally recommend a visit to this pub. Loved it.
