The Castle Cafe in East Riding of Yorkshire

Fantastic food, lips still smacking thinking about it while writing this review! Must have a good reputation as very busy but plenty of seating and short wait for freshly cooked food, bee-oot-ee-full darling! Helpful and knowledgeable staff who gave me plenty of info regarding the local area!

Always great food at a reasonable price and lovely friendly staff.

We visited this cafe this week on a day out. I always want fish & chips when I’m at the seaside so thought we’d give it a go considering how well placed this cafe is to do a roaring trade. Unfortunately I have to say they were probably the worst fish & chips we’ve ever had. The chips tasted like they had been cooked the day before and re-cooked again. Everything was so greasy and the fact that the portion size was good made it worse. That would have been appreciated if the food was worth eating. I should have recognised the sign when the boss had brought McDonalds burgers back for all the staff. Why? You serve food!! Not a great advert. Not a great experience. I have given 1 star for the location.

A great place for a stop off, food delicious, biker friendly, good value for money, even has and outdoor area at the front and a garden area to eat at the back, I'll be going again

Great food and coffee. Nice outdoor seating area which is dog-friendly. Would give 5 stars if dogs were allowed inside as today was freezing!!!

Just had one of the nicest breakfasts I have had in a very long time. Staff lovely and a decent cuppa too. First time here but definitely not the last!!

Great friendly staff, good selection and great food. Also always fundraising through the Withernsea Bikers too, a cracking business!

Friendly, good honest family run cafe with plenty of room for motorcycle parking. Great bunch and a very friendly atmosphere, the owners are spot on. Sausage sarny’s are cracking and the tea is strong.

We went there for a coffee with our dog but I didn’t see anyone with their dogs inside so we didn’t get in but my partner bought coffees and a carrot cake that was delicious 🤤!
