The Georgian Rooms in East Riding of Yorkshire

Fantastic coffee, excellent cakes, cheesecakes and breakfasts. A lovely setting in the old town. Staff very friendly, always great service.

I visit the Georgian Tea Rooms and the Antique Centre upstairs at least once a week. The women in the cafe are always friendly and welcoming. Graham, the guy who owns the Antique centre upstairs, is a lovely guy. His prices are reasonable and I've bought a lot of things from here.Overall: a warm, welcoming place with friendly and polite staff. Highly recommend.

Visited the centre and tea rooms this lunch time and was shocked and appalled by the behaviour of the Antiques shop owner who I witnessed banging on the door of the toilet telling the occupant that the toilet was not for "S******g" in. It totally spoilt my visit and I will not be visiting the tea room again or recommending it to anyone. I can only feel for the occupant of the toilet, it must have been extremely distressing for them as well.

I'm a regular visitor to the tea rooms. I always get a warm welcome and enjoy the high quality food. The sales rooms are fascinating to explore and discover those items you may not need but must have. A 'Must Visit Location' for anyone coming to Bridlington. Well done to all those involved in this wonderful piece of Bridlington history.

I have had a brilliant experience at grays emporium. Lovely couple running it, attentive, informative and happy to give you a background on the things they have for sale. The thing that impressed me most was the passion they have for what they do. Reasonably priced and a calm, relaxed and non pressured environment. I didn't have chance to sample the tea rooms but I will next time.

Lovely place to visit. Had lunches here and just had valentine's afternoon tea. Delicious. Followed by a look round the antiques. Didn't manage the outdoor sheds as horrible weather but good enough reason to go back soon.

I’ve never really bothered to go online and leave a review anywhere, but this place deserves it throughly!My pal and I have been working in Bridlington all week, I came across this lovely little place that stays open wayyyyy longer than anywhere else I could find.I went in and at first was alarmed as I seemed to have caught them in a staff meeting, so everyone turned and looked at me, normally I would have walked straight back out however in that awkward split second they all jumped to it and greeted me with the most warmest of welcomes.I was offered a table and and menu straight away, the tea was on point as soon as I asked for it it was there! I ordered my fat piglet sandwich and was pleasantly surprised at how full and colourful my plate was! Every thing tasted wonderful and even changed my opinion on potato salad!The staff came over and asked how everything was. I literally could not complain, they even brought a heater over to me incase I was feeling cool! How thoughtful is that!!!Honestly overall I could not hype a place up as much as I could here I would visit Bridlington just to be served by the lovely staff and for the absolutely gorgeous food.This is only a drop in the ocean as to what they have to offer aswell, with an antique room upstairs and wonder little butterfly club that upcycles and gives old furniture etc… new life. This place needs to be kept exactly how it is!! 👌 Welldone to the staff you are a credit to the owner and most importantly yourselves.

I'll say straight away that my best friend runs Gray's Emporium within this business but leaving that aside, if you're ever in Bridlington's old town a visit to the Georgian tea rooms and Gray's Emporium is well worth it. The food served in the tearoom is delicious and the staff are very friendly. And, after you've refreshed yourself head upstairs and explore Gray's Emporium with an amazing choice of antiques and curious and fun stuff from your youth. Well worth a visit.

We came across this lovely, old-fashioned, tea-room when we went for a stroll through Bridlington Old Town, one afternoon. The staff were very friendly, and welcoming. As it was mid afternoon we only had tea and a scone, but it was fabulous - a nice big pot of tea, plus a pot of water and the scone was home-made and fresh. We will definitely go again.

Absolutely fantastic breakfast, if your lucky enough to visit on a sunny day I recommend sitting in the beautiful gardens. A definite to try if visiting Old Town Bridlington or worth a visit to Old Town Bridlington just to try this tasty well presented breakfast with locally sourced ingredients.
