The Gnu is our absolute go-to for amazing food! Definitely one of our favourite eateries. The service is friendly and attentive, good range of drinks, great atmosphere and most importantly they serve the best food! Always prepared and presented to a brilliant standard - whether that be weekday or weekend, their food is delicious! Fully reccomend their Sunday lunches or the roast ciabattas!

Visited the Gnu today! Absolutely delicious home cooked Sunday lunch. Plenty of meal and loads of vegetables. You definitely will want to visit the Gnu again. Outstanding service by all the staff and a very warm welcome from Lee and Carol. We will most definitely be making a return visit. Thank you all. 😊

Very disappointed after reading reviews3 of us had Sunday lunch and 1 had steak pie. The Yorkshire puddings look like they had be re heated god knows how many times and you couldn't get your knife through them when l finally did there were large black burnt bits of goodness knows what in the centre of it....yuk!!. 2 of us had turkey, although you were given a very generous amount. It tasted stale. The veg was plentiful and ok. But as for the pie the meat was good (it was a dish of meat with a lid) but again the lid which l think was suet pastry was so hard and again you couldn't get your knife through it.Maybe we just hit on a bad day!
