the green dragon inn in East Riding of Yorkshire

Came for dinner last night with my three children, it was very busy and we didnt have a reservation, but we were able to get a table. The lady behind the bar remembered us from another visit some months ago which was nice! Debbie the duty manager was on the ball, very polite and professional. Thank you

Always have a great time at Green Dragon, superb food and drinks plus a great selection of whisky. Very friendly staff and management. Highly recommended.

We had a very warm welcome from Debbie for our 5 night stay at The Green Dragon Welton East Riding after booking direct on the Marstons website, it was a Sunday and the place was very busy, we had a lovely Sunday roast, the most comfortable bed and quiet room as the rooms arent attached to the pub, easy parking in a quaint village with beautiful Yorkshire Wolds Way walks straight from the doorstep, great road links for exploring the pretty villages, surrounding areas and Hull only 20 minutes away.Each morning we had a lovely, relaxing, plentiful freshly cooked breakfast in addition to continental choices all made by Leon and his team.Thanks to Leanne and all the team for a lovely stay at The Green Dragon Welton East Riding

Very welcoming, food was good however the towels in our room had not been changed!!! One of the bath towels had significant amount of blood on it!!! As a cancer patient I find this extremely distressing. The manager came & changed the towels immediately. However I do not find this acceptable on any level

Great wee place to stay near Hull. Just off the A63, great staff, rooms are good size, clean and fantastic shower. Veggie breakfasts are huge and tasty.

A lovely quaint pub with lots of character. Food tasted amazing! Arrived pretty quickly considering it was busy. The staff were amazing considering they were clearly run off their feet but worked hard to keep us happy - hats off to them.

We visited this lovely pub during our Yorkshire wolds way trip and absolutely loved it! Especially their pie was truly remarkable!! We had a lovely stay in the room and the pub had a great breakfast as well. Highly recommend this pub to stay and for food :)! Would love to come back one day again.

Historic, well presented village pub lovely service and delicious food that hit the spot. We had a veggie pie and kebab for mains, a sundae and sticky toffee pie for dessert and some tea to round off the meal. Wonderful and will be visiting again soon.

The drinks were good, food was ok I had a burger which was a little over cooked.However the service was excellent and very friendly. Served at the bar by two different people who were very friendly and attentive. The table service was fabulous and again extremely attentive (Thank you Izzy). Felt welcomed and felt my patronage was appreciated.
