The Hop Pole Hotel in East Riding of Yorkshire

Visited on Sunday at lunchtime. Service was good and staff are good. Food was good but steak was overcooked. We were in a rush so didn't have chance to mention this to staff.

Went to try out the new menu. Lots of choice really good value. Good range of sensibly priced quality beers. Overall a very good experience. Well worth a visit. We will be back Arnir

Enjoyed our afternoon as we were with family who we don't see due to living miles apart. The food was okay but sadly I think its just pub grub, however the prices were reasonably cheap

Great service, good choice of food which came hot and "sizzling", even better with the 50% off main courses offer, my sirloin steak was a bit grisly around the edges and more medium than rare but still tasty, overall an enjoyable meal :)

Bar staff were very friendly, would have left a five stars but kitchen staff do not communicate to front of house... No macaroni cheese, ordered fajitas no onions left,

We were very disappointed with the Christmas meal on Christmas Day this year 2021.Previous years were brilliant but for some reason this year was different. No sprouts, pigs in blankets, stuffing which are normal festive fare.I had salmon and had a vegetable concoction if green beans, peas, cabbage all mixed together and cooked to death. I also had a Yorkshire pudding with salmon!My starter was a slice of pâté two minute pieces of baguette and a few bits of green salad and some tiny dish of chutney.Overall the food was very poor.I think they have changed the chef!! Hop pole you have disappointed a faithful customer. Might not come back !!

Great food for a great price. Friendly staff and just a great atmosphere to surround yourself in. If anyone says they're still hungry after eating here they're lying

Excellent service, friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble, even clearing tables so we could use the reserve disabled parking. Food great and a nice ambience. Thanks everyone.
