Good atmosphere, brilliant hosts...what more could you ask.

been loads of times -food is great -but... this april (2022) the pub was filled with smoke and oil smell from kitchen as they did not seem to have extraction on.honestly the food and drink was great but atmosphere was ruined.walked out with clothes smelling of chip fat:{Hope they can sort it out so I can change review back to 5stars again.

Had a warm Friendly welcome from landlord and landlady food was great. Dog friendly my boys were spoilt by landlady with treats they will definitely go back😁 and so will I. thanks

Peaple serving was very hospitable let me in with 2 border collies even brought them a bowl of water. Also very toastey warm in there and they cleaned all tables has peaple vacated the premises.
