The Pheasant Bar & Dining in East Riding of Yorkshire

Beautiful little period pub with an easy friendly atmosphere. The staff are fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The food is top rate. Seriously need to visit here and eat. You'll not be disappointed!

Sunday dinner is delicious and the chicken and stuffing or lamb and mint pies are filling and tasty. Plenty of veg served on the side.

I attended a post-memorial buffet here after attending a local church to celebrate the life of a friend. The food really was so lovely. Could not fault it at all! The guy who served us (the owner) was really kind & his wife is the chef, as he explained. The menu of the main meals & cooked food looks awesome & I think it will be proper home-cooked food so will hopefully be back one day!Such a beautiful building in a lovely village. It made the day even more special so thankyou so much for that 💕💕❤️

Really nice pub. Stopped off enoute to a weekend away. Both had club sandwich excellent price and one of the best club sandwiches ever

Food was lovely and fresh. All dishes for our table were delicious. I really enjoyed my cheese and bacon burger. And the pulled pork nachos starter was fantastic.Also really like the idea of the private dining rooms they have available.Only reason for not getting 5 stars was service was very slow, and the place was mostly empty. So was not that staff were busy, just did not seem to care and needed to be chased down for anything we wanted.

On the day we were in, they had technical issues in the kitchen . We arrived early and enjoyed the ambience created by the excellent serving staff. The restaurant manager was not only pleasantness personified but extremely professional. We were made aware of a possible delay or even no food. Due to circumstances outside, their control . The way we were treated meant our party just stayed and enjoyed the afternoon drinking. My Guinness was poured perfectly (thank you) in a way that transported me back to Ireland. We will be back !!! After the last two years, we've all endured it was a delightful experience. Cheers 🍻

Delicious food, warm cosy environment and good friendly service. Very sensible prices.What's not to like?!

Hugely recommended. Lovely homemade food and incredible service. We've never eaten anywhere with such an understanding of gluten free requirements and they couldn't have done anything more to make the meal more enjoyable. Dog friendly as well.

Came here on Saturday of the August bank holiday weekend.It's a lovely picturesque pub in the equally lovely picturesque village of Allerthorpe.I had the gammon streak and my wife has the chicken burger. The food was fairly priced and of good quality, we both really enjoyed our visit here.I expect I'll frequency visit this place from now on, well recommended.
