The Plough Inn in East Riding of Yorkshire

On the day we were in, they had technical issues in the kitchen . We arrived early and enjoyed the ambience created by the excellent serving staff. The restaurant manager was not only pleasantness personified but extremely professional. We were made aware of a possible delay or even no food. Due to circumstances outside, their control . The way we were treated meant our party just stayed and enjoyed the afternoon drinking. My Guinness was poured perfectly (thank you) in a way that transported me back to Ireland. We will be back !!! After the last two years, we've all endured it was a delightful experience. Cheers 🍻

Really happy and impressed with the plough inn. Amazing food, great service, funny and friendly staff. We loved meeting Tedwin and had a brilliant time. We all got back safe and sound! Thank you for the great food and lots of laughs. A Definite must visit if you're in the area

Hugely recommended. Lovely homemade food and incredible service. We've never eaten anywhere with such an understanding of gluten free requirements and they couldn't have done anything more to make the meal more enjoyable. Dog friendly as well.

A great atmosphere with lovely staff. A proper village pub that is highly welcoming. The food is good pub food with generous portions - I especially enjoyed my steak. They welcome dogs in one side of the pub and have a gorgeous dog themselves. All in all a very enjoyable time.

We held our daughter's 1st birthday party at the Plough Inn yesterday and it was a perfect day. Kirsty and Jake couldn't do enough for us. They put on a buffet for us and the food was amazing and all our guests had a great time. I would recommend the pub for anyone wanting a venue for a small event or for external catering as well.

Now this is one pub you just have to visit, even if it's just for the atmosphere. Really welcoming place and the staff were brilliant. The food too is excellent ( credit to the chef).Lamb shank was excellent. Such a warm and friendly place. Definitely go back, even if it's a mile or two out of our way. Well done The Plough Inn.

Came here on Saturday of the August bank holiday weekend.It's a lovely picturesque pub in the equally lovely picturesque village of Allerthorpe.I had the gammon streak and my wife has the chicken burger. The food was fairly priced and of good quality, we both really enjoyed our visit here.I expect I'll frequency visit this place from now on, well recommended.
