Absolutely fantastic. Great food (best fish and chips I have ever had), good atmosphere, lovely staff and beautiful decor with a lovely homely feel.

We've been to Haven Thornwick Bay 4 times now and always driven past The Seabirds Inn saying "we need to call in there" we'll tonight was the night and we was not disappointed! Gorgeous atmosphere, very homely and warm! Staff are amazing very happy and polite! But credit to the chefs food was to die for! We are struggling to move from our chairs to leave as the portions are very generous and feeling very full! Would 100% recommend this place to eat! Definitely worth the visit A+++ WELL DONE!

This place is a must it is immaculate the food is out of this world when they say the scampi is the real deal there not lying its that fresh you can taste the sea. The burgers are proper top quality beef . The creamy garlic mushrooms are the best we've had . The smoked salmon and prawns with homemade sauce is awesome. The children's meals are very good also the double fry chips are proper. Good size portions. All the staff were polite and very smart made you feel welcome as though you were a regular nothing was too much trouble. Excellent service. If I had a restaurant I would 100% poach the chef and the rest of the team . Thank you very much and keep up the first class service.

Dropped in whilst passing by on a rainy October day. Very pleasant and cosy. Food was excellent.

We visited here after reading reviews ourselves. We're not disappointed one bit. The fish cake starter, the fish pie and cheesecake were fantastic. The dirty coleslaw was absolutely epic. Gills Mediterranean salad, chicken and mushroom pie and trifle fantastic. Staff and the place itself were 1st class. Five stars isn't enough.

Lovely restaurant, nice atmosphere, friendly polite staff, and most importantly delicious food. We had the luxury fish pie. Really tasty with lots of scallops, prawns, salmon etc in a white sauce. Sherry trifle for dessert. Yum!

Had some nice specials on our visit. I'd recommend the hake special if its on. Food is good, service is fast and they kept up with demand as it went from empty to full within an hour of us arriving. You get a choice of chips and peas or potatoes and veg with all mains (even if the main comes on a bed of Mash etc). Service is a bit reactive and not proactive, perhaps due to being so busy in full UK staycation season eg we asked for the wine list which they brought but then never came back to ask what we wanted, and had to ask to pay (once we had the bill) several times
