Food was superb and served relatively quickly. The fish and chips was huge and ended up with my mother taking home a doggy bag! Lovely pub with a view of the sea at the rear of the pub. Plenty of seating inside and out.

A really pleasant place. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Comfortable seating. The food was very good. Fish, chips, mushy peas with a piece of lemon, tartare sauce and a pot of tea for two people £20. Very good value and cooked to perfection, light batter. The staff couldn't do enough for you. The toilets were well decorated and clean. There is also a large outdoor eating area. Set out with nice tables and a play area for children. Also a large car park.

Delicious home cooked food, with a good range of beers. A good relaxed atmosphere and good staff members. Also a good outdoors play area for children.

Lovely place 1st time I've been for a number of years. Nice day Sat outside in very tidy pleasant area. My wife and I plus 4 friends had a meal at tea time and all of us thoroughly enjoyed it and so did our dog. And yes we will be back later this year.

Good helpful staff and range of beers I didn't eat there but the menu looked interesting and smelled great.

Good choice of draught beers and lagers. Friendly staff and the food looks really good. Not had any, so no opinion. There is a large outdoor area and in summer they hold live music and other events. They also have outside pizza ovens. We own a holiday cottage down the road

The Ship is usually a great place to visit however our experience on Easter Saturday did not live up to expectations. Tried to phone the pub for a reservation and check the outside pizza ovens were working as nothing on the website. Only able to book an outdoor table which was fine as the weather was very nice. No pizza oven until April 23rd posted on a notice board and we were refused a menu as we only had a drinks only table! Several empty tables inside and as it turned colder we could move inside until the table was required however the reservation time was 5.30 and it was 6.15 by this time. Not the best visit.

It was very quiet I'm sure it'll be a different story in the summer season. We enjoyed a very nice beer after a long walk and received a warm welcome. We browsed the food menus on the wall there seemed to be some amazing seafood dishes. We have eaten here a few years ago and had a really delicious meal, well worth a visit
