Quiet dinner time drink while on holiday. Very nice outside seating area.

Jesus Christ, the size of the portions. 🤯 Really well priced, lovely little place and the surf and turf is enough to feed two. Staff were friendly, dogs are allowed in and it was just really lovely. My one complaint was I had a gin I have had before and this time it tasted aniseedy, which I have never had before, so not sure where that came from, but otherwise this place is brilliant.

Fantastic food, friendly helpful staff, great DJ/entertainment, but most expensive place for a gin and tonic. And didn't find a disabled toilet.

Food took almost an hour to arrive, and was adequate at best, was sat in the dining area with my 13 year old child and the table behind us were swearing constantly, have no desire to return

First time I have visited and was shocked at how big the interior rooms are! A big plus is the outside beer garden. Ideal for when we are there in the Summer months. The food was gorgeous and portions were big! Staff were friendly and very efficient making it a relaxed and pleasant lunch.

Found it by accident as a place to eat. Food is pub grub. Excellently cooked to order. Surf and turf served with peas and salad and way too many chips! Next time I swapped chips for mash and gravy with my steak my steak was over cooked and it was swapped immediately for a perfectly cooked even bigger steak! No problems. Hubby had Cajun chicken and salad peas and chips. Again cooked fresh and beautiful. The pub itself is a bit dated and drab. It is what it is, a local drinking hole. There is a small restaurant area to eat at the back but you can eat anywhere in the pub and it's dog friendly too! Staff are friendly and courteous. Approachable too! I like this place a lot. Couldn't rate it 5 stars because of it needing a revamp that is all. Prices are very good. Under £7 per meal!
