The Stags Head Inn in East Riding of Yorkshire

Stayed at westfeild Country Park with some friends and managed to book a table here, wow amazing food ,we even booked a table again the following night could not fault it one bit ,excellent service and friendly staff the pub was set out beautifully we have even said that we would travel the distance just to eat here again I will definitely be returning and recommending to my friends and family stunning

Excellent Sunday lunch and at just less than £10 a head you can't go wrong good choice of ale also.

Excellent food and superb staff. First visit...but definitely not the last . Thursday steak night and Monday pie night. Loads more on the menu .. and dog friendly too..Thank you for a very enjoyable evening .

This place was recommended by the landlady of a pub in Withernsea, so we went, expecting big things. We weren't disappointed. Smiling, friendly staff welcomed us. Sunday lunch, quite busy, but that didn't bother them. Wife had a child's Sunday lunch, which she only just finished. I had the adult version, which was fantastic. Plenty of well cooked, tasty food, all freshly cooked. If we had one criticism, it's that the sherry trifle didn't seem to have any sherry in it, but that's nit picking. Our first time there, but it won't be the last !

Dog friendly and great food. Owners friendly and food served fast and really well presented. 10/10.

Returned today 23rd Feb and was not disappointed, still the best steak pie we have ever had.What a find 👌 what a fantastic charming old school pub, superb friendly staff and superb food, I had the stag mixed grill and it was fantastic, my wife had the beef pie and in her words "The best she has ever had" all in all a great place to visit and eat would highly recommend and we will return

Another excellent meal. The steak stroganoff was cooked to perfection. Even the coffee was that bit extra.

A Sunday lunchtime here is hard to beat. Really friendly service, well kept ales and top-notch food. Well beyond the usual lacklustre carvery - this is fresh food, served when it's cooked - so fresh snd not boiled to death, with top-grade meats and great service. What more can you ask?

Stumbled upon this place by accident and oh, was it a gem! Great menu, staff totally made the visit even better than it already was. The food was impeccable, good portions and a great choice too. Definitely ask for the pudding menu!
