The Yorkway Motel in East Riding of Yorkshire

Spent two nights at motel and served a purpose as base for a wedding. Rooms were functional, clean and bathroom shower and wash basin provided piping hot water.Breakfast was freshly cooked and presented by attentive staff. Thumbs up to Amy for remembering our room number and professional manner

We only stayed one night, it was nice and clean and warm. The staff we met were friendly and welcoming. We had dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday, not wonderful but it was okay. Overall a pleasant stay.

Basic facilities in need of an update . Rooms are adequate and bed comfortable. Restaurant good but menu fairly basic. All in all reasonable value for money in a convenient location near York.

Took my mum away for the night for her birthday. The room was spotless and so nice! Had a meal at the on site restaurant which was lovely! The staff are first rate and very welcoming and accommodating! Highly reccomend and would definitely return for another stay!

The rooms are no frills, but clean and functional. The reason for my five stars is the staff, who go above and beyond. My colleague and I were booked as a surprise for the wedding party who were also staying at the motel. We declined breakfast as we didn't want to be seen, but in the morning, I received a knock on the door with an offer of breakfast being delivered to our rooms, due to our situation. Shortly after, a foil-wrapped bacon bap and a foil-wrapped vegan sausage bap arrived, complete with both HP and Ketchup sachets! Now that is excellent service!

Enjoyed our stay so much. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were excellent and all the staff so friendly and helpful. Hope to visit again in the future.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at The Yorkway Motel, we were very happy, room and amenities were great, clean and spacious. Breakfast was a delight, enough to keep you going throughout the day, nothing too much trouble for the awkward member of our party. Evening menu looked great too. Michael and team were friendly and very polite. Definitely stop again if visiting the area, access to York, Harrogate and coastal towns of Scarborough, Whitby and Bridlington not too far away. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Stayed for only one night with my husband and we really enjoyed every minute, the room was spotless well appointed, and the bathroom had a fantastic shower. We had a meal in the evening which was excellent value all the staff were warm and friendly nothing too much trouble. The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts we have had it was good quality and very hot. Everything excellent.

The allocated room was very clean and spacious. Evening food in Spokes was very tasty and the politeness and service from staff was wonderful. The breakfast was very well presented and kept us going all day. Yes there is some noise from the A1079 which is only to be expected. The beds were very comfortable. Our room was near the outdoor seating area but as it was quiet we were not disturbed by people chatting later into the night. We would definitely stay again but would request a room a little further away from the seating area.
