Hadn't been in there for many years, but it's still a great pub, good beer, excellent food and friendly staff.

What to say, went there for a joint birthday celebration, staff were friendly, polite and efficient. Food was served quickly, everyone enjoyed it, and the bill was extremely reasonable (though this followed a trip to London last week, so perhaps my expectations were a lot higher than normal). All in all, if you are in the area then I can highly recommend a meal at the Wrygarth Inn.

Lovely relaxed location, friendly and helpful staff and great food. We had steak and ale pie plus the beef and turkey roast, simple food perfectly cooked and the gravy was terrific. Dog friendly with a dedicated inside seating area. Highly recommended.

Incredibly warm and welcoming pub with a great selection of beers and wines. Big community venture with s local shop and library and restaurant which does a great selection of meals. Well worth a visit and if you're staying local, an easy regular haunt for when you're on holiday.
