Had lunch here yesterday with my parents and husband, father is in a wheelchair. We had exceptionally good service, the waitress was so thoughtful and looked after us throughout our visit, the toasties, scone and cake we had were good, I'd recommend this cafe

I agree with one of the other reviews in that the scones are soooooo dry and stick to your teeth - maybe too much bicarbonate, I dont know? Supposedly walnut and date but tasteless and I'd go so far as to say the worst scone I've ever tried to eat- very disappointing given that the scone was 'speciality' which commanded a higher price!! Sadly I couldn't eat it. Always liked the atmosphere when this tea room used to be situated up the side path but now not so sure. Positives are that the staff are welcoming and friendly.

Lovely place to stop and have a drink. The staff are friendly and great for dogs.

A bit ordinary. Nothing to shout about. Only had coffee, toast and scone but everything came in the wrong order. A few people were getting agitated with the service

Dry scone which had clearly been microwaved and just got dryer, the colder it became. Tasted just sweet, no cherry or almond flavour. Very small coffee cup for £2.40 americano. Crumbs left on table from previous customer. Only one toilet for all and as I went to slide the door open, a man was sat on it, just to finish off my visit!

Lovely cafe. My daughter and I had a cream tea and a cheese scone and they were very good. Excellent service, nice varied menu and comfortable surroundings. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommend if you are out and about in Stokesley.
