Excellent food and great service. Nice atmosphere.

The venue was lovely and the waitress was great, we have been before and the food was amazing. Today I was not impressed with the Sunday lunch, a little cold crackling on the pork was not good, meat tough, disappointed for the price.

Super nice staff, lovely atmosphere and excellent food. They'd catered for my son really well, a high chair, friendly smiles and his own little portion of food. Thanks!

Just had a birthday lunch for our one year old granddaughter, 19 on our party including 3 toddlers. The food was excellent, the service outstanding. Very pleasant staff, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience, in light of wider recommendations and reviews, particularly as this was for a family birthday celebration.Our service was very poor with a number of issues including incorrect food orders or lack of elements being served - both starters and main courses - delayed drinks order and only one pre-meal drinks order actually delivered. The quality of food was also average and when commented on, we were advised that the team were likewise disappointed with the chefs.Despite providing the feedback in attempt to receive improved service after our main course, there was no service improvement and we seemed to be ignored. So overall a negative experience which impacts on our plans to visit other highly recommended locations.

Was a bit apprehensive about this place after reading reviews but we couldn't have wished for a better Tues lunch. The place is large and modern, very deceptive looking at the front. The food was excellent and was delivered in good time by friendly staff. We will definitely be paying a return visit.

Great dining pub/restaurant. Food great, service excellent all staff very friendly. 60th Wedding Anniversary so we booked James Herriot room for 22 diners. Will call again and maybe an annual event. Many thanks to Mel Lyndsey and all the team

A lovely spot. Went for a drink in the bar area & will definitely return for the upmarket food. Very clean and well maintained premises. Well set up outside, and spacious inside.

Had a great dinner here a few days ago! Highly recommend booking - especially given limited seating outdoors.Had the asian duck salad & chicken terrine to start - my partner & I both preferred the duck over the terrine (really lovely flavors). I then had the Thai hake with prawn dumplings & sweet potato mash (really flavorful & filling) & my partner had the ribeye which he really enjoyed.We ended with the rhubarb possy (I didn't prefer it but my partner did) & the chocolate fondant (apparently their most popular - & I enjoyed it).We'd definitely come back - great service & food.
