Black Horse in Hambleton

Spent four nights here with my sisters. Lovely quiet village but conveniently located for seeing the sights of the Dales and North York Moors. Truly excellent customer service, particularly the delightful Rosie. A great stay with comfortable, spacious rooms and good food.

We absolutely love this Inn. We always have a lovely time. The friendliness & service of all staff is matched by the quality of food. The fact that you can take your dogs into the bar whilst you drink &/or eat is another plus for us.

Omg where to start, our welcome was lovely, food was piping hot and utterly delicious, service was excellent, the bedroom was probably one of the best I've stayed in, beautiful comfy bed, thoughtful touches from chocolate to hygiene products and everything in between! Wish I could have stayed longer! Breakfast was superb!! Can't recommend enough!!

Fantastic room and service, amazing food. The attention to detail for those small things that make a stay memorable- I needed to be up and away on one day of my stay before normal breakfast service- not a problem a beautiful breakfast hamper was delivered to my room ready for my early start. I will be back on a ‘for pleasure’ visit rather than for work.

Te most amazing hotel stay have ever had, although it was more personal than a hotel stay. Food was out of this world. Every meal from breakfast to evening meal was perfection, as was the service from every member of the team we met here. Our room was outstanding, little touches made it even better. We ended up staying 2 nights instead of one and would have stayed more if we weren't returning to work the next day !! Could not of asked for a better stay anywhere!! Our fur baby loved it she settled straight away, My wife told me it was her only go to place from now on and loves everything about it so happy wife happy life. She even wants to come here for a weeks holiday rather than our usual place !! Thank you to Sally, Steve and Tom and the amazing team here see you again very soon.

Absolutely fantastic!!Food was amazing, staff were lovely and welcoming.Accommodation was superb, really comfy beds and the curly wurly hit the spot!Will definitely be coming back for a Sunday lunch in the near future.Thanks for a super time. X

We only stayed for one night but would have loved to have stayed longer👍The staff were wonderful catering to our every need, we had an evening meal in the restaurant which was amazing. The room's are so quiet and bed's so comfortable you couldn't help but have a restful sleep. My wife and I would highly recommend 👍👍

Best meal we've had for years. All 4 of us had something different and we all enjoyed it so much. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back (with our doggy again). We would highly recommend 😀 👌

Visited for Sunday lunch with my family.Best Sunday lunch we have had in a very long time. Beautiful food, great selection of vegetables, all delicious.Lovely surroundings and relaxed charming atmosphere.Great attentive staff. Cannot recommend highly enough, will definitely be returning.

I have stayed here twice, food is fantastic. Rooms are great. I can't recommend staying here more. So why 1 star. Simple, 1st time we stayed we arrived and they had no idea who we were as we had booked through booking. com. They said we were lucky to get a room. This time we have been billed twice. We have contacted them 14 times, email and messages but still no refund yet
