Enjoyed sitting outside in the beer garden on a sunny day. Good choice of real ale and two great dogs 🐕

We went here for lunch one day and tea the next. Pizzas are excellent. Friendly service and our dog was welcome too

Absolutely disgusting, the bar area didn't look too bad when we first walked in.Table was covered in god knows what obviously hadn't been cleaned. The toilets smelt and looked like they haven't seen a mop or bleach in about 5 years. Beer wasn't too bad just really didn't want to drink it after visiting the toilets and thinking what the rest of the place (that the public eye cant see) could be like I personally will not be coming back

Visited on Sunday especially to watch the live band. I was not disappointed. "So What" were one of the best I've seen in a while. The sound quality was excellent, the skill of the musicans was top notch and the atmosphere was great. Everyone seemed to be having a lot of fun. I hope they do many more of these events as I will definitely be there. Another reason to visit to add to the amazing food. 👍🏻👍🏻

Staying in Thirsk, popped in for a pint in the afternoon and decided to go for tea. It was absolutely superb. We had Lobster Ravioli and Sesame seed chicken to start, Chicken Supreme for main course with Panacotta and Apple Crumble for pudding. All were fantastic. Not just the grub but the staff were brilliant. Polite, attentive and very friendly. The service was excellent. We thoroughly recommend a visit. We will be back to try some of the other dishes next time we make it over to Yorkshire.

Food and beer is great here. Eaten here a few times. Back tables a little too close to door for smoking area and people tend to shout through the door! There is a side snug dining area which is away from the throng of the bar. Lively atmosphere

I really enjoyed. Great menu in my opinion that surprised me with number of options. Very friendly staff. Surprisingly quite for a Saturday evening. Wife's veggie dish was a little disappointing though. A little more choice for vegetarians would be nice.

Visited on Tuesday for a five thirty meal with my husband and two friends for the first time Very welcoming, friendly, comfortable relaxed atmosphere. Excellent varied food menu, with unusual combinations. All delighted with our choices. Delicious and well presented food.Will look forward to revisiting and can highly recommend. The Shiraz was superb too !
