Bliss Cafe, Thirsk in Hambleton

We looked up this café based on reviews, primarily for the dog-friendly aspect.The café seems popular, is well-staffed and we had high hopes.Service was slow, menus not offered on greeting.Food was generally good - the fresh-made sausage rolls, coffee and scones in particular.We didn't find the café any more dog-friendly than others we have visited. Doggo didn't want a drink but had some of our sausage roll.P.S.: our doggo was promised a sausage on entry. Never materialised.

First time we been here. Nice environment. Friendly staff. Large portions and very tasty.We were greeted by friendly staff. We could choose from a wide variety of food and desert options, also vegan friendly. Dogs are allowed here which is great. We got latte, cheesecake, scones and cappuccino. It's was lovely and came in large portions. We will definitely come back.

Fantastic dog friendly cafe. The food is freshly made and is exceptional. The owners and all staff make you feel very welcome and can't do enough to ensure your visit is enjoyable. I can highly recommend Bliss for a great breakfast, lunch and in-between!

Popped in for a quick light lunch. Partner had simple sausage sandwich and I had fruit scone with jam and clotted cream. We both enjoyed our food.Service was efficient and the place is nice and clean with simple decor.They made our dog happy with treats.

Absolutely love it here, hadn't been since covid pandemic began but Jacque hadn't forgotten myself & my daughter and made us so welcome as usual. Food is delicious 😋 Dog friendly too and you wouldn't know dogs had visited if you visited when none there! It's immaculate, cosy, friendly and welcoming 🙏 Well worth a visit if in Thirsk.

Very friendly and air place and dog's are made extremely friendly. Staff was very pheasant and welcome. Dog's where given a sausage that been cut in very thin slices. Limited menu everything done fresh to order. Hot chocolate with cream and marshmallow was delicious so was Lasagne with chips and 🥗

Not very blissful...Sat waiting for menus for a while, dogs barking inside at everything, other dogs trying to go for your plate, so not so calm and peaceful!Coffee was good, food was okay - pretty expensive for what you get. We got the Yorkshire Platter for two and it was fine but not a great selection, okay quality and not much for £16.

Our third visit we always come here when we're in the area. Always a very warm welcome for us and our dog. Excellent, tasty food. We don't go anywhere else... Ronnie dog drags us there for his sausage pot and plenty of attention.

Love this place - so does our dog(sausage treats are standard - not for the humans! 🤣) Great for breakfast/ brunch or a coffee with a scone/cake. GF options a real treat for my GF hubby. Plan to make it a regular stop off.
