Beautifully kept building and gardens ... immaculate!Booked weeks in advance for a Sunday Lunch. Could only get in for 12.15 pm, surprised as only 4 other couples eating, and so lots of empty tables, no atmosphere.Horrendously expensive, 3 courses £70 pp. Lime and soda Over £4s, half lager near £6, expresso £6.50, tea £6.50.Bill came to £183 including high service charge.Staff are fab, but won't be returning, nice experience, was hoping to have tea in garden, but sooo windy, not their fault of course.

The cottage is in a beautiful location.The bed was so comfortable.A wonderful place to stay for a short break or longer.Surrounding countryside is wonderful.

We stayed for 1 night ti celebrate my husbands birthday. We had dinner, bed and breakfast and our room overlooked the gardens and lake. What an experience! The food was amazing and the staff were exceptional. Their attention to detail to make your stay so great is brilliant. We've found a new favourite and will definitely be back!

What an amazing treat for my Mum's birthday lunch. Felt so calm and relaxed and mesmerized by the view. Menu was especially personalized and staff were so kind and welcoming. The whole place is immaculate. Cant wait to save up and go again.

This is an oasis of tranquility. Overlooking Rutland Water, the hotel is elegant, the service immaculate and the food sublime. My reduction of one star was only because my room overlooked the kitchens. I am also rather concerned that my room name appears to have an extremely unfortunate translation in Spanish but I stand to be corrected!

Five stars are nowhere near enough. This is an outstanding place. Weekday is exceptional value for a Michelin starred lunch. Look out for the dessert souffle ... always spectacular. And the garden ...

Food presentation was excellent,everything you would expect from a top restaurant. Service was very good,very attentive,fantastic surroundings,would definitely recommend.

Wow. This whole experience was a one off. It is without doubt a 100% Michelin star restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing. The staff cared for you like nothing else on earth. The only slight downside for us is that it is rather stuffy in its way and with no background music in the restaurant you feel you have to whisper rather than speak at normal levels.

Lovely lunch at this Michelin star restaurant. Superb food and gracious attentive staff who made sure we never felt rushed despite endlessly chatting catching up with friends. Such a treat!

This was my first visit to Hambleton Hall, as well as my first Michelin star restaurant and it was faultless! The experience was incredible, great service, atmosphere and the food was amazing. Being vegan was not an issue at all, as you can see from the menu and photos. Definitely would recommend you visit
