Grande Steak and Grill in Hambleton

Was a lovely meal with my partner. Nice place and good music. The food was amazing by Chef Debrah and our waitress Lauren very friendly. I definitely will recommend this restaurant.

We took our Son to Miller and Carter for his 19th birthday, the meals we had were fantastic both in look and taste. When our Sons dessert was bought out they had written Happy birthday on his plate, which he loved, thank you to the me.ber of staff who let them know it was his birthday.Talking of staff the staff are all excellent very knowledgeable about the menu and friendly. On way out our Son had to ring the bell 🔔 which the staff in the kitchen love to hear. Great job all round thank you we will definitely be back 😀

A great date night with the wife, something special, but amazing food with staff very knowledgeable and willing to help you out with what you want!

Disappointed to say the least. I've eaten at the M+C in Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Headingley and Hereford and never had to wait an hour between courses before. But M+C Grantham have told us that our steak has to warm to room temperature (we ordered at 7.30pm and got mains at 8.50, in a hot kitchen, it doesnt take 80minutes to warm a steak i'm sorry). I fear its less about the meat hitting room temperature and more about the 300 people they've crammed in.Brought it up with the manager who reiterated the same point.Also as an aside, i asked if I could have the prawn cocktail without avocado as my starter and a young waiter told me 'none of the cocktails come with avocado' which was reassuring😅Rated based on a waitress telling me 'right well there's nothing we can do about that' when they told me our mains would be another 15minutesExtra stars as food good though when it eventually arrived

We went there last week for the first time for their lunch time meal and both had the three-courses. The food was absolutely superb, but the mackerel pate was served with two tiny pieces of bread and a generous amount of pate which we both had to leave half of because of the ridiculous tiny amount of bread given. The main was a generous portion given and the dessert a reasonable portion. in fact I enjoyed the food that much that I have booked to go again, but this time will take a bread roll with me for the pate.I would have definitely given it 5 stars if it had not been for that

Glorified Beefeater!Steaks are tasteless and service is poor and how Nicola is employed in customer service is a mystery.Each steak is served with a wedge which is a quarter of a chopped iceberg lettuce drizzled in a sauce. And a deep fried sloppy hashbrown is also served on the plate ? We both had T bone steaks which just lacked any flavour but also didn't come with a good variety of sauces like steak sauce ? Or stilton? Which would have been better served with the steak not on the chunk of lettuce 😂 (Please see picture of the monstrosity) Ordered chunky chips with meal and side order of mash which Nicola forgot about ? She heard it because she apologised in her clear I don't give a hoot what you think way.Wines are way over priced £20 maybe £30 of course for a £6 bottle in Waitrose but not £40!? And they go up from there!Kids meal with steak is laughable smaller than a fish finger! And fish was dry and fishy meaning it was bordering on being off.To call this a steakhouse and a gourmet one at that is a joke! If you like great food don't bother go elsewhere to a decent independent PH. if you don't mind considerably overpaying for what is a Beefeater then this will suit. So tried it during a quiet period on Saturday and won't be going back! Awful!

5 ⭐️ We were served by Jasmine last night. She was great! Upon ordering, our starters and drinks came not long after that. Very efficient. Jasmine got everything right off our order. The steak was DIVINE! Lovely meal out last night. Was worth the drive, treating the husband for a birthday meal. Thank you Grantham team!

Superb meal to be had, service was excellent, the only thing we waited for was the bill which was no bother as I had a cocktail to finish. The steak was cooked to perfection as always and our server was just wonderful. Polite courteous informative and added a little touch of humour in, lovely girl. Can't wait to visit again.

Great food. My wife and I shared the Chateaubriand. Delicious and good value. The service was a little slow and the Mansfield branch has a better atmosphere. This was a bit more "pub-like" whereas the Mansfield branch has more of a restaurant and classier feel.
