Greyhound Inn in Hambleton

Had a meal with our two grandchildren yesterday early evening. We all enjoyed our meals and found the Greyhound in Hackforth welcoming. A proper village pub and we will certainly visit again next time we are staying in Hackforth. Thanks your hospitality.

We said here overnight to break up a journey in the family room. The whole team were very welcoming the room clean, bed comfortable and the evening and meal and breakfast were delicious. Great value for money. Highly recommend

Sadly Storm Arwen thwarted our plans for a second year to stay at The Greyhound. But Steven was wonderful, keeping us up to date with plans and making arrangements for us to stay elsewhere so we weren't stranded. Thank you for all your help and still making our weekend special. You really went the extra mile and we so appreciate it. We will be back!! X

Excellent. Called in here today for lunch after travelling for two hours and still further to go. Served by a very friendly chap. Food was delicious. My husband had the steak baguette and said the meat just melted in his mouth and it was 'a proper steak'. I had the cheese and ham panini. Again delicious. Lovely to sit outside on a glorious sunny day. Will definitely call in again, maybe Sunday lunch next time.

Lovely village Inn. Great location near scotch corner for us to make a pit stop. Very friendly and accommodating. Lovely room with free toiletries, tea and coffee facilities, and breakfast. We had a great meal and a few drinks in the bar as well. We will be back and will book direct for the best prices!

Stayed here on the 29th July, very warm welcome from Steve and the team. Lovely comfortable quiet room and great food. Excellent breakfast. Definitely will return. Ideal base for visiting the Yorkshire Dales.

Orders a Sun Lunch to collect. Absolutely lovely meal, main course & dessert. All our plates were cleared, with not a scrap left.Not a issue catering for the allergy concerns within our house, they were more than happy to sort for us & even made suggestions. Lovely service & ready to collect on time, in sensible strong packaging.Fantastic.Thank you the Greyhound Inn.
