Home Farm Shop and Cafe in Hambleton

Mosts wonderful farm cafe, amazing ribeye stakes, starters and puds were superb. House wine and larger too . So I must say the stake nights are brilliant, staff are great and make you feel at home. Would definitely recommend highly . 👏😋

Called in here just before our visit to Beningbrough Hall, as we thought it might be the official cafe linked with Hall. It wasn't, but we stayed and enjoyed a very nice snack of scones and drinks. It's obviously very popular with the cycling community, and dog walkers. Eating inside and outside options available, with hot and cold food on offer. Very pleasant staff, and scones of good quality, as shown in the picture attached!

Went for a coffee and cake after walking the grounds of Beningbrough Hall. Plenty of tables available . Lovely display of cakes looking very moreish.Reasonably priced cafe .Plenty of staff but appeared to be disorganised

Fantastic lemon and ginger slice, plus lovely coffee.Sat outside as I was with my dogs, long wait as everyone wanted to sit outside in the glorious sunshine. Inside was virtually empty, but can't take dogs in.

Arrived just as they were closing but the lovely waitress still served us. Cake was delicious as was the flapjack my husband had. I had thirst quenching tea and hubby had a locally produced beer.

Lovely food, well presented. Very busy around lunchtime but staff worked really hard to serve as quickly as possible, and friendly.

Terrible service - Ok we were told a slight delay in service but having to wait 45 minutes for just 3 bacon Baps and 3 coffees is not a slight delay. Had to ask twice for our order to be taken and twice when the order would be delivered. Only go if you have plenty of time to spare.

Lovely lunch I a rural location. Good food some farm or locally produced ingredients on the menu. Gluten free options available. Loved the burger from the farms own cows. Also had fruit scone and tiffin - Tiffin was generous and very nice, scone a bit dry.Good service and friendly.

Been coming here by car or cycling every 2 or 3 months for several years.Several changes in that time with shop/deli going and expansion of cafe and have seen one or two examples where service wasn't as good as usual as highlighted in several reviews. But food has always been very good with local produce and generous portions. Treated ourselves to full English breakfast last Friday which was excellent, with welcoming staff, great service and nice to sit and eat looking out over the parkland. Very enjoyable and recommend
