Over priced and bad service, cakes and scones are not fresh. I don’t think I will go back again. Far better places elsewhere. It’s a shame because it’s a nice location.

Lovely clean cafe after a nice walk.Good food with all the birds coming to the table.

Camped while doing the coast to coast. Would have been better had I been allowed to camp within the campsite and not on the field outside the boundary which has a lot of public access. Surely you could find an area to host coast to coasters within the site

Had a lovely tasty scone and yorkshire tea, reasonable price, service was fast and efficient and the staff were lovely! It was a sunny day so we got to sit outside. Lovely peaceful setting for before or after your walk 😊

Fabulous location hidden away. Excellent service by very pleasant staff even though it was very busy. Can not fault. Looking forward to going again.

Had a lovely snack there and cup of tea. I can't fault this place. The waitresses are incredibly fast and efficient friendly and welcoming. And there's so much too do! Walk cycle. There's flying to watch, paragliders and hang gliders model flyers with some incredibly large models. responsible dog owners are welcome. The views are incredible!!

Nice place, had a Sunday roast, it wasn't the best I've had but it was fairly good. The disabled toilet had a roll of toilet paper, which everyone else would have touched, not great for spreading germs, especially when COVID is still around. Also, no paper towels or hand dryer to dry your hands on in the disabled toilets. I had to go into the men's room after I'd used the disabled toilet to wash and dry my hands.Really nice building and apparently, there are some nice walks nearby.I'm disabled though, so didn't get a chance to explore. We were in a group and they forgot about a number of meals, so we sat without whilst other members of our group had finished theirs, they were busy though and a few staff down, so I think they were strugglingStaff are attentive and friendly.

Really lovely spot even in a cold January, drinking hot chocolate and eating some gorgeous cakes outside after a very muddy walk was splendid.Kids enjoyed cakes. We didn't sample much else, but staff were lovely, despite the mud, snow and ice the bar and shop area where clean and tidy. Will visit again when a bit warmer.
