Amazing scones and amazing outdoor sitting areas!

Went for lunch and it was delicious as always. Nice choice of selection on the menu and specials board. Tuna on granary bread, packed with lovely tuna and delicious quiche. Both served with a fresh, crisp salad.The chips are superb. Lovely and crisp, yet fluffy on the inside. Salads are delicious and not your run of the mill salads.Lovely areas to sit outside looking into the forest, or in the courtyard. There are also tables inside in a very nice room. We will be back!

I have visited this cafe twice in the same week as the cakes and coffee are excellent BUT both times the staff were miserable, abrupt, unfriendly and on todays visit my friend and are were spoken to like naughty school children. When we arrived I leaned my bike on a chair outside and was greeted by an obviously irritated member of staff who’s first words were “don’t lean your bikes against my expensive furniture”. When I suggested bike racks I was looked at in horror. Cyclists are obviously not welcome. The cafe would be perfect with friendly, welcoming staff but we did not receive this on either visit. It wasn’t a pleasant experience and we won’t be returning.

Called in today, had a latte and a very tasty cheese scone.my partner had the fruit scone with fresh raspberries and clotted cream which I must try next time. It looked equally yummy 😋

We had a lovely meal here. My son is normally very picky about his food but he loved his fancy fish finger sandwich and crisps. Such a friendly place and great service, food and setting.

I don't feel a service charge should be added when I only had a scone and Americano, would not visit again, I've been to far better places.

Delicious afternoon tea, best we have ever had , best coffee around, lovely place, lovely, lovely staff 👍👍🤣🤣👍👍👍

Went to the cafe today ,never been before ,we didn't book a table there were tables empty with blankets incase we got cold.The staff were nice and friendly there came to us to take the order ,the food was amazing would highly recommend

Excellent food amazing scones and cakes, the staff are wonderful and very friendly, definitely going to go back, and try the Fri/Saturday evening menu, fabulous setting and the inside is just so cosy! It's a little gem find.

The wife and I enjoyed a supper home made scone with jam and clotted cream this afternoon, really nice Earl Grey tea too. It’s only just opened for the summer season Tue to Sun, quirky and interesting interior
