Racha Thai Bistro in Hambleton

Visited last night. What a beautiful restaurant! Fab staff, great ambiance and the food was outstanding. My husband asked for the spiciest curry they could do and they didn’t disappoint. My fruit curry was excellent, beautifully presented, fresh and flavoursome.

Great Thai food, too notch. The panang and tie chu chee were particularly good! The massuman beef was not the best for us, (a bit fatty) but I cannot fault them for it, it just wasn’t our style. Still, we will be back.

Went here last night with a large group of about 20 and the staff were really nice about the fact it took us beyond their closing time to finish everything. The food was amazing. The best Thai food I've had in the UK by far.

Been wanting to try this place for ages, wished I had done it sooner... duck spring rolls absolutely beautiful...and the green curry with king prawns was delicious and and plentiful.....we will be back...

Well what can I say we love thai food and this did not dissapoint will deffinatley be back.

Had a takeaway from here last night as staying at Sutton Hall Resort. Was recommended by the staff. Wow we were not disappointed. Service and food was fantastic. Would definitely go again if in the area.

Great food in a cosy friendly atmosphere. Been twice now and will be returning to sample more dishes.

On reading the reviews we really looked forward to our meal and planned to rebook to bring visitors in March, if it was good. We were disappointed. The waitress greeted us with a warm smile, which was lovely. The restaurant was VERY cold - I had to keep my jacket on and use my scarf as a blanket! The menu is not extensive but plenty to choose from. We ordered soup to start (to warm us up!) - they were both good with lots of fresh ingredients. Some crackers with it would have been nice without having to order? (I didn't see them on the menu?) The mains were fresh and tasty but not outstanding as we had hoped. I ordered veg, no tofu but it came with tofu - they quickly sorted this so this was not an issue. It was an OK meal overall, the service was good- spoilt by the temperature.

Tucked down an alleyway in the middle of Thirsk this little place serves up a nice punchy Thai menu, lovely staff and nice atmosphere. The scallops were perfect - highly recommend.

1st visit to this little gem tucked in Bakers Alley. Covid guidelines all in place. Warm friendly welcome. Staff very pleasant and informative on menu. Food was delicious. Scallop starter was my favourite with the king prawns a close 2nd. The shin of beef in the massaan curry spread across the plate with a spoon it was that tender. Lovely coconut rice for a bit of sweetness. Dessert menu looked lovely but we were both stuffed so no room. Delightful evening and look forward to sampling more.
