Solberge Hall in Hambleton

Was here for a friends wedding. Very disappointed from the dirty red carpet out front covered in cigarette burns. Service and food disappointing also.

Was okay!! The mattress was very bad I had terrible night my back hurts so bad! The food was ok !!

It’s alright, the room smelt funny but was cosy.. quite old fashioned though . Staff are friendly, wish they had more variety on their dinner menu, but I did enjoy their fish and chips. I actually quite enjoyed the low lit vibes here.

Nice room, great staff, very friendly, super food, excellent breakfasts. Grounds are lovely. A super place to chill out.

Had staff xmas Party,would highly recommend. Staff were very helpful and friendly, good food and excellent service all had a fantastic night 🙏🙏

Dreadful cold room, cold coffee, sneery 'welcome', no afternoon tea. It's not generally as grim as this in Yorkshire hotels.

Lovely hall. Dog friendly. Dogs got a sausage on the Thursday when there was breakfast. Staff very friendly . We booked through a third party so when we got there there was no record of our booking. They didn't know if they had a room. Luckily it was sorted. No breakfast Tuesday and Wednesday as no chef but no restaurant either on those days. You need to visit from Thursday onwards if you want to eat there. Like lots of places chef shortage. We bought croissants and there are tea/ coffee in the room the room was tired.. cracked basin, broken hot tap. But it was clean. There was a food parcel one morning but not the second so not sure if it was a mistake or not as food parcel for one. Lovely grounds to walk in. Miles from anything but again we knew that before we went. Although some glitches I would stay again. Not the fault of the staff there was no chef.

Lovely location. Friendly, helpful staff. Would have been 5 stars if bath taps worked! But soon solved the issue

Solberge Hall hosted my daughter's wedding reception in July, it was absolutely perfect, food was amazing and plenty of it.Plenty of staff, really helpful and friendly..,the place was decorated beautifully and we had an amazing day.Would definitely recommend
