We used to visit a lot for Sunday dinner, was always very good with reasonable prices. On our latest visit the prices have shot up. A pint of diet pepsi is £3.50, this is poured out of a 2ltr bottle you get from Asda for £1.85, 3 x glasses of geniue diet pepsi out of 1 x 2ltr bottle = £11.50.Sundays meals have also shot up in price. I understand the price of living has gone up but this latest visit will be our last, I don't like been ripped off. There is plenty more wonderful venue's that do a cracking Sunday lunch and don't rip you off.

The food was superb. The pork and Black pudding scotch egg was just wow. Good , attentive but never overbearing service

This place is great. Lovely food, lovely location (definitely worth going to) lovely staff. Its just an all rounded lovely place. Plus it has a little park at the back of it, so you can walk/play off the food you have just eaten 😉 😀

Fantastic pub food I had the best Parmo I have ever had. Would highly recommend, definitely would come back.

Enjoyed Sunday lunch. Service was good and we were a le to order additional vegetables and gravy. Bonus now dog friendly

Good food for the price, the chocolate brownie was burnt on the bottom. The service was lacking during our first half hour there. The drinks and menus came with very little waiting. However, after 20 minutes, I had to ask someone to take our order. 8 minutes later we were informed, one of our selections was no longer available

Very nice food, worth the trip out from Middlesbrough in a snow storm. Asked for the chicken parmo with some jalapeños on and was absolutely amazing. Only issue we had was trying to look at a manu beforehand online as that menu is no longer in use. So was alot different about it but other than that we had an amazing meal. There's also no signal inside or out

Fantastic meal very good value for money, friendly staff good service and a fantastic atmosphere, candles on the table a realy nice touch

Absolutely fantastic food and service. The food is produced to a high standard at a good price. Only negative is that the pub is a little rundown and dated now, although I think it may be due to the effects of covid on pubs and restaurants. Location is superb, right in the middle of a gorgeous little village with a short walk to a mini castle ruin perfect for burning off some of those calories. Can't wait to visit again.

Visited June 2021, a lot less busier than the other pub in the village, also not many beers to choose from which is a shame and my deconstructed ploughman's lunch was a little strange to say the least but none the less its a great place to visit if the weather is good, the garden adjacent to the pub is spacious and we maintained, all in all i would recommend.
