Ideally situated for me to explore the many quiet back roads between Northallerton, The Cowtons, Appleton Wiske and Hutton Rudby on my bicycle. Then to return and enjoy a welcoming thirst quenching pint of excellent ale followed later by a belly busting evening meal.

Me and my partner went to stay over night for paddy day , ended up staying 2 nights great friendly service made to feel very welcome .very smart clean rooms and pub food was 5 star . I would highly recommend this pub we definitely will be back soon xx

Wonderful village pub serving top notch fayre. The Moules Marinere are probably the best I've had ever, and the creme brulee must be up there too. Friendly, attentive staff, and a busy bar area. Best place around this area at the moment!
