What a wonderful location. Friendly staff who enabled us to get a drink just before closing time. Will definitely be back and perhaps next time maybe a bite to eat as well (but not at closing time!)

A beautiful country pub, both from the outside and within. There is limited parking but plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. The Ales were good, well kept and served. Service was polite but I feel we caught the Guvnor after some busy sessions. Would definitely revisit if we back in the area.

Excellent home cooked food, well presented and plenty of it. We went on recommendation and was not disappointed.

Lovely room with extras such as fresh milk, bottled water and complementary port! Tranquil setting in beautiful countryside. Friendly hosts!

Called here for lunch today (Sunday), dogs allowed in certain areas.Good pint of Taylors Landlord, I asked the landlord for a menu, he replied "beef or pork" fantastic.I have to say that the roast dinners that we had were delicious, as were the chocolate sponge and ginger sponge, both with custard.Good value for money and a lovely friendly environment.We will definitely be returning.

Called in on the spur of the moment and made welcome as were our dogs albeit they are aggressive people eaters. More helping than can be comfortably eaten with 6 vegetables and 2 types of spud.

A really lovely pub!The food was really really good, and they had a great selection of local beers and gins.The pub itself is really nicely decorated and feels cozy and warm.The couple who run it are really lovely, and are happy to give recommendations or try to accommodate in any way they can, and we all adored their dog Barney.A visit to the area wouldn’t be complete without a stop here for a drink or a bite to eat.

Such a lovely experience - excellent range of drinks including some locally brewed beers and all the food was very delicious. Steak and ale pie was the best I've ever had, and they are well known for it in the area! Nice big portions (I could only manage the main course) and also a very cute dog ;)

Typical Dales community owned pub. Excellent selection of local ales and wines. Beer changing week on week. Quize nights, band nights, meeting place for shooting fraternity & brilliant social pub.Good selection of food by the hosts Leslie & Keith. Outside seating and dogs welcome. B&B available.
