The Golden Lion in Hambleton

The atmosphere is excellent with candles and Subtle lighting.Service was very good Food was very tasty.I actually loved it the pint was also very well kept.Keep up the good work!We had the seabass and the suet pie , excellent.What a nice village too.

Genuinely love it here. Decor hasn't changed for the last 20 years but always had good food here and was very popular on a Saturday night. Cannot recommend enough

Always great to return to my roots and to The Golden Lion where the wonderful food, welcoming atmosphere and reliable cosiness of the pub is so good for the soul. We had a memorable meal served by a friendly waitress - I didn't know a fishcake could taste so good. Back in the south-east now with a right monk on!

Perfect place to visit with family, friends and your beloved pet :) Also somebody told me that you have the possibility to stay there. Option that definitely I will explore the next time I visit Yorkshire.

Visited a few weeks ago now after walking about 5mls locally came to eat outside with the dog and we loved the Sunday lunch. Friendly service. My only issue was £4.70 for a beer, a bit over the top !!

Lovely place along the Cleveland Way national trail. Room is amazing and the staff are very friendly. At night, we had a nice meal in the pleasantly busy (but not crowded) dining room/pub.

Lovely pub and I've rarely tasted steak as good as at this pub, the quality and the cooking was perfect. It's hard to find good Blue steak here but The Golden Lion nailed it!

Gorgeous food in a cosy environment. Some of the best service we have had post covid. We enjoyed it a lot and have already booked to go again. Yummy!
