The Green Dragon in Hambleton

The food and beer wad great and the staff are amazing! We wanted to get a cab back but on a Sunday being in the country there was non available but was didn't mind walking back. One of the bar staff over heard us and offered to give us a lift back to our site which saved us a 40min walk, what a legend! Great experience all round!

Wonderful food and drink. 3 real ales. A good selection of larger and cider. Staff are very warm and welcoming. Out side seating at the rear. Dog friendly inside and out.

They saved my bacon today when my phone was dying and my car charger wouldn’t work. I was 76 miles from home with 10% battery for my sat nav app and I went in for a drink and some chips and they kindly helped me out with the use of a charger. Lovely people beautiful spot. Wonderful hospitality.

Traditional pub, big garden & plenty of parking. Has bar & restaurant seating for food & has good bar snacks. Staff are very friendly & attentive. Popular with locals & dogs welcome too.

First time in here have been to there sister pub the station where we always have a great meal well this is just excellent at the green dragon would recommend the Sunday dinner to anyone we saw some people having fish and chips they looked excellent I had the three meat roast which came with several thick cut slices of beef turkey and pork well worth the money

Big group of us and we all enjoyed it. The staff were fantastic and they were one down. The food was good and a lovely beer garden to with great views.

After reading a previous review about this places for Vegan options, me and my partner gave this a try and was not disappointed. The stuffed chicken breath was perfectly cooked and a nice sauce, and my partner had the vegan tart which she described as 'incredible'. Great service and great food, the vegan cheesecake was the cherry on top.

Staff as usual were fabulous, thank you ladies for a great lunch and service. The dog enjoyed the chips, but did not get to hoover up the whole meal, just a visual inspection of quality!!

Had a lovely Sunday roast one beef and one Turkey really enjoyed the meals. Lovely pub great staff well worth visiting and the puddings are to die for. Don't go passed pop in you will enjoy

Twelve of us went here for lunch last week and had a fantastic time. The food was excellent (with the Steak and Ale pie and Eton Mess being particular highlights). What stood out though was the professionalism of the staff who made us feel really welcome and went out of their way to ensure we had all we needed. Excellent.
