Extortionate prices for pub food and drinks. Actually hostile to kid, even though we arrived as soon as they opened... Probably a much better experience if you have money to burn and no kids (or is that the same thing...)

Everything fine for accommodation.Would say £24 for Fish chips and peas & £5.60 pint of larger is a bit on the steep side😞😞🤔🤔

Amazing food and some great beers served in a beautiful village pub. Highly recommended.

Great food and very friendly staff. They are comfortable to have guest's pets as well.

I had the smoked game bird trio a couple of nights ago and I have to say it was exquisite. First time trying a dish like this and now, won't be the last. The apricot and almond tart was an amazing finish to what was a very memorable meal. Can't wait to try more on my next visit. Thank you to you all. A great, rare foodie experience.

Delightful spot in the beautiful village of Wing close to Rutland Water. Spacious, comfortable accommodation & first class food in the restaurant. Staff were lovely too. We fully intend to return.

One of the best meals I’ve eaten in a long time. Taking game meats to the next level with impeccable combinations and presentation. Whilst some of the pricing pushes it out of everyday eating, and may have been responsible for the relatively quiet Friday night we experienced, it is entirely justified for the quality. The game charcuterie platter was unmissable and excellent value and I would happily go back for that alone. The muntjac saddle main was a spectacular and refined dish that was truly memorable. I will be back to sample more of the menu as my only disappointment was not being able to try more of the food on offer. Possibly the best food in Rutland right now.

Popped in at 2.50pmtoday with a our two Retrievers and although only two customers were left, we were welcomed brilliantly and as a result, are returning tonight for dinner which wasn't planned. Fabulous service rarely seen these days, so 😊!

Best (pub) meal in a long time! Great menu, with too many delicious options to choose from.Had the game duo for main, which was the right dish to have in the run up to Christmas.
