The Lysander in Hambleton

We have just returned from staying at the caravan park from Friday until Monday.We made several visits to the Lysander arms on site.We ate on the Saturday night and my sister in law and partner had the car very on the sunday.Food was amazing as were all the staff.Big thanks to Gemma for looking after us in the restaurant on the Saturday.I had the fish and chips and my husband had the fish pie. Food was amazing.Paul, pearl and gill were all amazing and looked after us.It’s are second time to the park and will be definitely returning very soon.Pitches were perfect very clean and everything you needed on hand.Big thanks to everyone and see you soon.Joanne and Steve Barrow

Steak night!! 10/10 recommended. Staff was lovley and friendly, great food. Will definitely be going back. I would recommend booking as they was busy.

Birthday lunch with family, the food and service was faultless. 6 different meals around the table and each one delicious, served by attentive staff. Spot on, will definitely be back 👍

We had our first visit on Sunday and we were definitely amazed how nice this place is.Sunday carvery was amazing, good choice of meat, vegetables, stuffing and yorkshire puddings.The service was top notch too from start to finish and all the staff were very professional and smartly dressed.We will definitely be going back here, our new favourite place to eat out.

Went for Sunday lunch carvery. Excellent, all freshly prepared in their own kitchen. Very reasonably priced and so popular advanced booking is required.

Finally got to stay at This Great pub and Site over the New year after shut down last year . Well worth the wait . Great Pub , Location , Price . Toilets spotless . Staff we spoke to in the pub friendly . Ideal for Motorhome's

Been here on several occasions for the Sunday carvery and never been disappointed. Good value for money. Have also had the normal lunch menu during the week which had so many choices. Well worth a visit

Wow the food here is absolutely outstanding. I cannot think of anywhere in York or the surrounding area that is producing food to this standard. This is high end restaurant food served in the most beautiful pub with friendly attentive outstanding service and the price is incredible for this quality of food. Shin of beef with bourginion sauce and mash or fillet of steak with scallops. Every single mouthful was sublime 5 stars across the board

Was listening to a friend last night who went for Sunday lunch. He said the general manager was an absolute t@sser. When I went for fish and chips the food was amazing and the young staff were brilliant. After reading through these reviews it seems he's horrible towards everyone. Why does he even work in hospitality??? What a fweak. 😂😂😂🙈🙈🙈

Good pub with plenty of customers creating a nice atmosphere. Staff welcoming and friendly. Stayed on the caravan site linked to the pub and it had all the amenities. Toilet block very clean.
