"The Oak Tree Inn offers guests a wonderfully spacious traditional bar, stocked with local beers, hand pulled ales and a great wine list. Located on the first floor, the expansive private dining room and private lounge with wood-burning stove and balcony is the ultimate party room. Seating 22 guests very comfortably, this private space is ideal in winter or summer for dinners & lunches, cocktail parties, family gatherings and any host of occasions. As for the accommodation, there are five double bedrooms in the main pub and one exterior bedroom available as a twin or a double. Each of the six bespoke rooms has been carefully designed and furnished to offer guests a comfortable, relaxing and restorative stay. This venue is dog friendly."

Nice food, nice place to stay and friendly staff

Warm welcome on arrival, great knowledge on food and drink.. Guest rooms looked well appointed. Large outside area for the up coming Summer.Food was well presented and both courses had great taste. The Dining room was open and airy, all tables had plenty of space in between each other. Bar area comfy with arm chairs, seated around the open fire.Well done to the Oak Tree staff

Called in for Sunday’s Dinner after a walk in the area. Food was lovely. Very good gravy! All very tasty. Will visit again the next time we are in the area.

Absolutely first class service from beginning to end! Food menu was simple but fantastic choice and tasted amazing! Staff all friendly and willing to go out of their way to help you and nothing was too much trouble. We worth a visit or a stay without a doubt! I shall be back in a heartbeat!

This is such a lovely friendly place to eat or go for a drunk. The staff and manageress are really friendly and chatty they love to get to know you. The food is beautiful I would highly recommend. They also do beautiful accommodation

I like The Oak Tree, its convenient and has a good atmosphere and is a nice setting but they need to sort the beer out!!! Its a county pub but it never has any decent hand-pulled beer on.This post is purely a moan about the beer, can't be that hard can it?

Just home from a fantastic weekend at the oaktree. All staff were terrific, helpful and very friendly. Room(lime) was brilliant. Thank-you Oak Tree.
