Went last night. Was slightly concerned following some of the Google reviews on here but have to say it was a lovely meal and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

came on thursday evening having had table booked for over month and half, arrived 5mins early and was completely ignored by the 2 girls working for five mins then to be told table wasnt ready and tried to sit us in doorway .i asked to be moved upstairs wich she did politley. eventually got to order food as i think they forgot we where up there . ordered mixed grill with the girl who clearley didnt want to be there but was never asked if i had any allergies or how i wanted my steak cooked . about half hour later the food arrived with no gammon but sustituded with a couple of pieces of the fattiest bacon i have ever seen . eventually got to ask why i had bacon and was it smoked ( it cleary was, you could smell it ) to get the answer " I dont know " i asked if she could check as i have a severe allergy to smoked food but she never came back . in the meantime the steak had bled all over the board ( i good vet could have revived it ) and contaminated most of the rest of the food . no one came to ask if everything was ok with food . i even had to go down and ask for a bill as they didnt even come to ask if wanted deserts . Completley spoilt our last night of our holiday . would have left a minus star but 1 was the lowest.the owner needs to sort there staff and ask why chef sustitutes food items without checking with customers.

3 of us called at about 3pm yesterday for coffee and cake, drinks came then waited ages for the cake, by this time our drinks had nearly gone, my cake was beyond dry I honestly couldn't cut through it, waitress said she would see if they had more, we waited even longer and our drinks were now finished. I went in to pay as she appeared with a replacement slice. Too late though we had all finished. Very dissapointed. My husband had visited a week ago with friends and said the place was fantastic with very friendly, happy staff, yesterday's waitress definately wasn't happy. This cannot be blamed on been busy as there was only 5 other customers there

Lovely food, good quality and reasonably priced. The jacket potato with hoisin duck was gorgeous. Hubby had a cranberry bacon and brie panini, the best he has ever had. Thank you.

Nice food but not very attentive service given there were two staff out front and only 4 tables occupied. They were too busy chatting

Staff were really nice and friendly. Menu is really good, with lots of nice vegetarian options. We got a cheese and tomato panini which was a bit small but think it was inexpensive. I got a halloumi and avocado pitta which was nice. The place itself is lovely and we would go back - the pizzas looked amazing (when being stared at on the next table haha)

Had an excellent meal here. Accidentally, went on Thursday when they do a 2 Pizzas and nice bottle of house wine for £25. Delicious, authentic, very large Pizza and nice wine,Restaurant itself was light and very pleasant and the staff extremely friendly and nice. We were only visiting the area but would make it a regular place to eat if we lived here. Well Recommended!

Excellent food and service with lovely outside covered sitting area

Great for cyclists as there is a rack in front to stand your bike in. Tables out front next to it or plenty of tables inside with a big window to still see out of. Lots of choice on the menu from a full or light breakfast to burgers and pizzas and light bites. Coffee came quick while I decided on cheese and ham panini. Able to use contactless and toilets inside too. Will be back again.

Lovely restaurant! The decor is lovely and chic. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a lot of choice for lunch (haven't been in the evening)
