After a fab 12 mile walk, stopped as this great pub just for drinks today. Warm friendly welcome for both humans and dogs. Busy but not overly busy..... well worth a visit

Awful !! The 3 Tuns was closed for refurbishment but we were told the chef had moved here. However this was very different to our experience of the 3 Tuns. The battered fish was clearly leftovers which had been re-battered. Disgusting. Given the owner's obvious contempt for customers in serving rehashed food we'll be avoiding the 3 Tuns as well. Best go to another village.

A miserable experience where the expectation based on a previous experience of a quiet friendly pub was dashed. Instead we were met by a busy cheap.eating house, with only Doom Bar ( a sweet unappetising beer) available. Our table was squashed under a new bar. People near us complained they'd waited 45mins for service and eventually left to go to the Chippy next door. All in all its probably part of the price we're paying for Brexit and Covid but I won't be going back in a hurry.

Lovely pub. Fabulous meals at a decent price. Friendly helpful staff. 10/10

Decent, wholesome food and good service. Pretty quiet, and could have done with the fire on to warm things up a bit. Beer selection was reasonable, but a free hand-pulls were off, leaving on Tim Taylor’s Landlord on offer - which was good enough.

Fantastic atmosphere and really good food. Dog friendly as well which was great for us with our 2 spaniels!

We were in a group of 14. Foif booked for 1pm. Actually served at 1.45! Pub not full. Forgot the sauce to go with my food. Fish portions wree huge! Won't be back in a hurry.

Booked table for Sunday lunch, the food was amazing. The only reason didn't get 5 stars was the service, not really friendly and no one asked if everything was alright and the plates were not cleared away, still there when we left. I think this pub would do better with table service.

Great family pub lunch. Friendly staff, warm welcome, good food at a sensible price. Even a special dish made for one of our party with a gluten intolerance.

Called in here for lunch. Would not have been our first choice but other two pubs in village closed. However, a great choice. Dog friendly. We both had a bacon, two eggs baquet and shared a plate of yummy chips. Thoroughly enjoyed and food reasonable prices. Would have given 5⭐️s but £8 plus for a large Chardonnay was a bitter pill to swallow.
