The Sandwich Bar in Hambleton

Excellent service from Sophie today as soon as I walked in I was greeted and my order taken, food was prepared and presented beautifully. I would highly recommend for a tasty lunchtime treat. Well done guys

Not great. First my food was burnt and the whole place flooded with smoke - no doors/ windows were opened. Then I overheard what needed to be done in terms of cleaning and one staff said hers (referring to some cooking equipment) was “disgusting”. It really put me off my food. The cappuccino was just like hot milk - couldn’t taste the coffee at all. Service was unfriendly too. Bit of a let down.

Poor food, dire coffee, even worse service.Felt like being in an episode of Fawlty Towers, only without the jokes.Avoid.

Lovely cafe, good choice,friendly staff. Reasonably priced. The only problem was the staff did not change their gloves at all . They touch food ,then money then food again. They should use clean gloves every time they serve a customer or not wear gloves and wash their hands between customers.

5 stars in not enough, this place definitely deserves 10 stars. All the food is cooked to perfection and it is all homemade which makes it even better! P.S The Milkshakes are on another level. Amazing!
