The Topiary Coffee Shop in Hambleton

Strikes is a very well laid out garden centre, with a massive array of everything for the gardener. From container gardener to professional.I was able to find what I was looking for really easy. Staff were very pleasant and keen to assist. I really can't comment on their prices as the post pandemic world we live in has changed everything. I was however pleased with what I paid for my items.Well done Strikes.

The afternoon tea for 2 £30 is excellent value. The outside garden is lovely on a sunny day. Service was good too.

Had a meal there today. Sunday lunch.Cost £12.95 each, one course.I can only say it was about the same quality as a School dinner in 1980 at mega the price.Gammon seemed a cheap cut and tasted horrible. Parsnips very under cooked with carrots totally the other way !Value for money ? Not today Mr Strikes.Staff very helpful and polite thou which made up for the low level of food quality and high prices. Staff rating ***** stars

A while since been here, but nice to stop off on the way out of Northallerton. Good range of plants/garden accessories all nicely laid out. Also sell a small range of clothes/home wares ie candles, diffusers, picture frames etc. And on the way out biscuits/ small bags of sweets/jams etc. Also has a coffee shop at back of shop. Has a nice large carpark, with room to manoeuvre if you have a lot of stuff & trolley.

Nice garden centre with plenty to look at got some good gear in and the loyalty card is a good deal too so we'll worth it. See you soon

Whats happened to the cake selection only 3 cakes to choose from, same choice every week.Can we please have more choice.You used to do some lovely cakes like lemon and orange cake and the portion size has got a lot smaller for more money.From a regular membership customer who is disappointed.

Very interesting, Staff Friendly & HELPFUL + CheeryDidn't have much time to BROWSE around due to RESTRICTED TIME of trip & Therefore would have Appreciated being hereLONGER.Almost INACCESSIBLE ~ WITHOUT own form of Transport. Would like to be HERE AGAIN. In the NOT Too distant future.

Stopped here for a quick break on our way home today. Nice café and a good selection of plants and accessories. Bought myself a new Phaphiopedilium. Didn't explore the outer area.

A good visit today . Just north of Northallerton on the A167 .A good size garden centre and decent customer car park .Signposted off the main road you are immediately in the car park . There are at least 10 disabled parking bays next to the building .After unloading It was an easy task to find the entrance .Its a decent size and well laid out .We followed the floor path and ended up in the Strikes cafe!! The quality of the food was brilliant. I actually forgot I was in a garden centre!!! I was able to fit my chair under any of the tables due to their style.There are customer toilets and baby changers in both the ladies and gents ,and not in the disabled one (yahoo).Assistance is needed to pull the door as it comes towards you . I was unable to turn inside the room as there were heaters and bins preventing me .Apart from that a great day out
