The Velveteen Rabbit Luncheon Club in Hambleton

Love going for a snack, as dogs are allowed, which is great as I walk her first. They always gave dog treats. There scones and cream are delicious.

Stopped off for a coffee/hot chocolate and cake with my 13 yr old en route from London to Whitby and...wow! Amazing find. Loved the interior and decor (we got the two luxury armchairs!). The food was delish and the service typical of Yorkshire - homely, friendly and efficient. Also loved the back story - the place is named after a fave childhood book of one of the co-founders. Must visit again!

Lovely visit today to Great Ayton. Called in for lunch. Warm friendly welcome with a treat for our four legged friends too. Will definitely call in again.

Welcome atmosphere. Really friendly staff. The cooking and baking are absolutely amazing. There are a couple of outside tables, a couple more inside and loads more upstairs. So if it looks full ask. You will not be disappointed.

Wonderful food, the Chicken Souvlaki is particularly delicious (pictured) and I appreciate the quirky decor greatly, first time visiting will most definitely be returning!

Really lovely staff. Great sausage rolls and coffee before starting out on a loop to Captain Cook's monument and then onto Roseberry Topping. Cakes looked lovely too.

Always a warm welcome from the amazing and extremely friendly staff team, very attentive, great service, great knowledge of all the amazing food they serve, the best scrambled eggs ever, you have an amazing set up, lovely ambience and plenty of choices, please do not ever change.

First time visiting The Velveteen Rabbit and it certainly won't be the last! Breakfasts are absolutely delicious and the cakes we took home as we couldn't fit anything else in while we were there were equally as tasty! Think we may have found our new favourite place!

One of my favourite dog friendly places with really great coffee (especially their mochas), food, cake and bakery products. Lovely chilled atmosphere with a quirky vibe and super friendly staff. I often visit the Velveteen Rabbit Luncheon and love their cooked breakfast - their homemade beans and sourdough toast are very tasty. Really lovely quality ingredients used. I can never resist leaving without some sourdough bread and cake to take home with me!

I'm not exactly sure what a luncheon club is but if they all have amazing cake, great coffee and friendly staff as this one did, I wish there were more of them!
