The Watermill Bar and Grill in Hambleton

This place is a hidden Gem. They say it has the best beer garden in Yorkshire. But I would say one of the best in the Uk. The food was amazing and the Staff were very helpful and pleasant. We will definitely be back.

Stayed at Landal Woodland lakes lodge site April 2022 and had a meander down to The Watermill restaurant. What a lovely place with a nice courtyard and pond in the back. I can imagine it being very busy in the height of summer but during this Easter weekend it was quiet with just a few tables taken here and there. On the Sunday we were undecided whether to try the dog and gun a short walk away or the carvery at The Watermill. Decided on the latter and so glad we did. The staff were all welcoming with great service and the carvery was absolutely delicious. Turkey, beef, gammon available and a great selection of vegetables which were cooked to perfection as were the roast potatoes. I would definitely recommend.

I used to live and work in a Greene king carvery restaurant and this is the best carvery I’ve ever had!

We dined here with three children under twelve while staying at Landal Woodland Lakes.The varied dishes from the menu were all of excellent quality. Don't skip desserts - they were amazing!Proper food cooked with skill and pride.

Lovely meals on both occasions we have visited. All staff attentive and friendly. Highly recommend x

Absolutely beautiful meal..cooked to perfection and served by lovely friendly staff. Head chef came out and spoke with customers...he wont be disappointed with the feedback. Definitely be back and definitely worth a visit!

What a lovely place service was great food was really tasty would definitely eat here again if I was in the area I have fished at woodlands many times but never visited the watermill we are staying in a log cabin so called in for our tea glad we did

Friendly staff, lovely outdoor seating area, and outdoor play area.Really enjoyed the food however waited almost an hour for desserts (think they forgot about us)

Amazing place. Very reasonable prices,Food is fantastic. Sunday lunch (3 courses if you can manage it) was beautiful. Very friendly staff, we have been eating here for about 5 years and i must say the food now is the best it has been.
