Lovely friendly pub… food is ridiculously good had the meat sweats fro the pollo it was truly delicious and so cheap to eat there. Lovely beer garden with amazing sea views

Stunning location overlooking a golf course and the coastline. Short walk to the beach and a promenade all the way into whitby.Clean warm room.Great friendly staff good grub.Nice selection of well kept ales what's not to like.

Popular and spacious food orientated pub. Can get quite crowded. Apart from the usual array of keg beers there are 3 hand pulled Theakstons ales on offer. I can't comment on the food as I didn't have any, but my partner complained that the coffee was not up to much.

Absolutely stunning views, only had a cup of tea out side but we shall return to try the food, the staff were polite and friendly.

Would not go again! Awful atmosphere- more life in a morgue! Barman came across as really arrogant. Food was a huge plate full of greasy food, which some people might like but not me - especially considering the inflated prices. Couldn't wait to leave. Very disappointed!

Food was very good with a generous portion size. Make sure you book for the window tables as you can see the view of the sea.However, the tables are very close together. You feel like you are sitting on the next table!The high chair we were given the straps were frayed and not safe so I ended up holding my 5 month old instead.

Went for lunch . Chose homemade fish finger sandwich served with few chips (more than enough)side salad n colesaw. Beautifully cooked lovely light crispy batter on 3 pieces of fresh white fish. Only £8 and well worth it.

Great view of the ocean and the golf courseIts only a 20min walk to whitby seafront or 6 mins in the car.The pub offers food and drink and a spacious car parkWe originally booked an annex room but were upgraded when we got here to a room with a balcony and king size bed.Staff are really welcoming and friendly and can't do enough to help.Weve booked for tomorrow night and been told there's a chance we can stay in the room we are in if it doesn't sell overnight inside of having to move to the annex rooms outside which is an added bonus

I've been going to the White House Inn for a good few years now, I wouldn't stay anywhere else when I'm visiting Whitby. Planted in a great spot with some amazing views. It's always clean and tidy inside, you never hear a noise during the night so you can guarantee a proper night's sleep. The staff are always friendly and happy to help, the owners are also lovely people. The food is always amazing, the drinks are just as good. If your planning a trip to Whitby, don't hesitate in booking a stay with the White House Inn. I'd recommend this place to anyone. 10 out of 10.
