NOT DOG FRIENDLY!Ive been going to Thirsk coffee shop for years now. I have always felt a bit miffed, when dogs are barking and smelling around the tables when I'm trying to eat my food.So many cafes now encourage you to bring your dogs, I just think it is wrong. Especially where people are eating! I have a dog- I never bring him out to cafes or restaurants. I don't know why everyone else does! (Rant over).WELL DONE THIRSK GARDEN CENTRE! I enjoyed my peaceful coffee and vegan biscoff brownie without 4 legged friends.Always great service5 STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The food is so amazing. I don't know how they've managed to make a ham and cheese toasted ciabatta taste so good!!. Even though it was busy, it came to your table really quickly. No faults.

The centre is great well stocked with all your garden needs , the staff very knowledgable, and so helpful and kind, they helped me into my car with very heavy items, and they gave their time to help my granddaughter with her school project and after buying and filling my car for me, i went to the cafe and had a lovely coffee and some great cake. Such a lovely and friendly place to shop.

Looks like a lovely place, good reviews. However, was looking for a dog friendly place for a cafe visit as advertised. When we got here it states Guide dogs and assistance dogs only.

Lovely place they have a great range of gardening products and feeds for wildlife as well as a range of outdoor items including seating, lighting and bbq. The coffee shop offers snacks and light bites as well as larger lunch items.

Honestly....???I was a bit disappointed. Have been coming here for years, there fruit scones ALWAYS fall in bits when trying to butter them, not sure why but today, I fancied a jacket potato with tuna but there is no way I am prepared to pay £9, it's just too expensive. I know times have been hard, I get that and I really want to support local businesses but this is just not acceptable (to me) for a potato and tuna with maybe a salad side, sorry.....

Clean. Tidy. Staff very polite & helpful. I had a lovely cheese scone. Another person had the cherry scone. My son had the millionaires shortbread. Can recommend all 3. Plenty of tea in the pot & water to top up. Great place to stop on journey up A19.
