Thyme Restaurant Premier Inn Thirsk in Hambleton

Interaction from (some) of the staff was a little abrupt at times.I was super hungry as I'd finished in the gym so ordered a mixed grill and thought it was a little small (I was hangry though so maybe it was just me) tasted amazing.Rooms as usual clean and super comfy beds I was able to starfish in.Fruit for breakfast wasn't the freshest but atleast they had some.Still one of the better hoteliers out there.

Checked in late after a long travel needed a drink at 10.30pm and staff who was working said sorry we have closed the bar couldn't even get a coke they said I had to use vending machines which had no drinks in so I said there's no drinks in the machine she said sorry we have closed the till, so I won't be staying here again I need a place to stay for 12 months and it won't be here,

Very helpful staff. Our room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking. It's about 20mins walk into the town and there's an Aldi store just across the road.

Most of breakfast food was cold black pudding swimming in grease bacon dry beans like warm eggs snotty or hard yoke best thing of all breakfast was the sausage only thing hot on plate I was very disappointed but so hungry I ate it but wouldn't recommend it at all

Clean, staff are really friendly and good. Nothing too much trouble. Good but basic 'pub grub' type restaurant. About a mile walk from town centre, so good location. Ample parking. Can't think of a negative.2nd stay not as good. Paid for evening meal in advance only to be told on arrival no food until half 8 (after 7 hour drive). Had a real early start next day due to a funeral so wasn't able to eat. Gut on check in desk didn't even apologize. Why not contact us to advise in advance? Why bother with the advanced booking if you still can't manage even when you know dining numbers.... Really poor.

Rooms are clean, tidy with a modern feel and staff are welcoming. Haven’t had the food in the restaurant, however went in there for an evening drink and felt the prices were expensive for what they were. Over £4 for a 330ml bottle of beer I felt was a bit steep.

Restaurant is hit and miss. Inexperienced staff.Not told that they had run out of pineapple when I ordered the gammon meal.No drinks menu to check range and prices.They still advertise a hawaiian burger which also contains pineappleHotel is directly opposite an Aldi which no doubt sells loads of tinned pineappleOne day it was a " no bananas" on breakfast choice, next day no yoghurt.

Checked in a little while ago and the twice we have spoken to the receptionist she has been as miserable as sin.Jody you want to take a happy pill and smile now and again.I have stayed at lots of premier inn hotels and this reception is by far the worst .

Stayed 1 night and would definitely stay again. Check in and access to the room was smooth and easy. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. A lovely quiet location, so perfect for a restful night.
